Kobe scores 68 in 15 minutes in Shanghai
Kobe Bryant scored 68 points in the second half of a charity basketball game in Shanghai, China against players who may or may not have ever picked up a basketball before and clearly appear to be under six feet tall.
Bryant said his team was down by 29 points as he sat the entire first half and then came in and brought his team back for the victory. I love this because it just goes to show how competitive Kobe is. He refuses to lose a charity basketball game in Shanghai. According to his facebook the place was packed with fans that sang him happy birthday and wanted to see him play. He didn’t let them down putting on the show that you can see in the video below, definitely not high definition.
Michael Jordan used to say that he went hard every single night because there was always going to be someone there who had never seen him play in person and never would again. Kobe takes that to a whole new level here by dominating a charity game against non-basketball players.
